The Tiger Who Came To Tea

The Tiger Who Came To Tea... Live On Stage, adapted and directed by David Wood OBE from Judith Kerr's popular tale, is coming to Eden Court.

As Sophie and her mummy sits down to tea, the doorbell rings.  Who could be at the door? The answer, a tiger.  Soon, Sophie and her mummy are having a handful with the unusual guest, with sing-a-long songs for the younger audience.

The Nutcracker comes to Eden Court in January 2018

The Scottish Ballet of the beloved The Nutcracker is coming to Eden Court in January 2018.  Tchaikovsky's infamous score will be preformed by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra.

After the Christmas party, Clara falls asleep and dreams of helping her Nutcracker Prince defeat the evil Mouse King and his army of mice.  In The Nutcracker follow Clara as she journeys through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets.

Hairspray will return in February 2018!

The musical comedy, Hairspray, will be returning to Eden Court in February next year.

It's 1962 in Baltimore, USA, where Tracy Turnblad is on a mission in hope of following her hopes and dreams onto the national TV while bagging Link Larkin along the way.

There will be the hit songs Welcome To The 60s, You Can't Stop The Beat, The Nicest Kids and many more.

A Murder Is Announced

This July, a stage adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel A Murder is Announced, is brought to Eden Court by the Middle Ground Theatre Company, bringing to life the classic Miss Marple case from the Queen of Crime.

The quiet village of Chipping Cleghorn wakes up to be astonished in finding in the local paper a piece announcing that a murder will happen at Little Paddocks, home of Letitia Blacklock.  A group of people gather, the lights go out and a man bursts through the door - then a gun is fired.  And here is where Miss Marple, an elderly spinster with an understanding of people, enters the story and helps piece together not only what happened, but the why and the who.

The Shawshank Redemption (Cult Classic)

Frank Darabont's classic 1994 film, The Shawshank Redemption, is coming to Eden Court.

Beginning in 1947, Andy Dufresne is sentenced double life-sentence for the murder of his wife and her lover.  At Shawshank he meets and befriends fellow inmate Red, and through this friendship, Andy helps place a bit of hope into Red.

Beauty and the Beast

The Disney film everyone has been waiting for, the live-action version of the classic 1991 film, Beauty and the Beast.

When Belle's father gets lost, he finds castle owned by the Beast and gets imprisoned.  Belle offers to take his place, and over a period of time, Belle and the Beast fall in love as the true insides of the Beast is revealed, but will it be in time to save the Beast from the final rose petal?

60th Blog Post - The Railway Children steams back to Eden Court

Adapted by Dave Simpson, E. Nesbit's classic children's story, The Railway Children, made famous by the iconic 1970 film starring Jenny Agutter and Bernard Cribbins, is steaming back to Eden Court.

The Railway Children follows the story of three children, Roberta, Peter and Phyllis, who's Father leaves, and then Mother tells the children that they're moving to the Yorkshire countryside.  Taking resident in the Three Chimneys, the three children befriend Mr Perkins, the Porter of the local railway station, a mysterious Gentleman who waves from the Green Dragon train, and many more colourful characters.
