The film is coming just in time for the hundred's birthday of the author, Roald Dahl, whose book the film is based upon.  Roald Dahl wrote many children books like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (that was been adapted twice, first in 1971 (with Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka, and considered a classic) and second in 2005 (with Jonny Depp as Willy Wonka)), James and the Giant Peech, Fantastic Mr Fox and George's Marvellous Medicine.  Dahl even wrote the script for two of Ian Fleming's books, You Only Live Twice in 1967 (with Sean Connery as James Bond) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in 1968 (starring Dick Van Dyke).  A dictionary has been made explaining the words Dahl made up for his books.

Roald Dahl (1916 - 1990) was a fantastic children's book writer.

I hope that you will come, see and enjoy this story of friendship, written and directed by two fantastic storytellers.
