Based on the true story of Seretse Khama and Ruth Williams. Seretse Khama is the King of Bechuanaland (modern-day Botswana) and Ruth Williams is London office worker who fall in love despite their skin colour (black and white) and the flood of fierce outrage for their marriage in 1947 causes, in Britain and in Africa.
