The Scottish Ballet is returning with a performance of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. A story of a young girl called Clara who gets a Nutcracker for Christmas and when she falls asleep, she dreams of helping the Nutcracker Prince defeat the Mouse King and his army of mice. Clara will visit the Land of Snow where snowflakes comes to life dancing and the enchanted land of the Sugar Plum Fairies, the Kingdom of Sweets.
Scottish Ballet's Nutcracker has always been a great success whenever it comes to Eden Court.

The Ballet will be performing from Wednesday 21st of January till Saturday 24th at 7.30pm for two hours (inc 20 minutes interval). A Audio Described Performance will take place on Saturday the 24th at 2pm (Touch Tour at 12.30pm).
Tickets range from £10 (for Under 26) - £29. Groups of 10+ for the price of 9. If you book on-line or by phone booking fees will apply.
There are Pre-show Talks from members of the Artistic and Music staff from the Scottish Ballet. Thursday the 22nd 6.30 - 7pm will focus on the dancing. Friday the 23rd same time will focus on the music. Booking is required but free.
If you stay in the auditorium after the performance on Friday the 23rd you will get a chance for a Post-show Discussion where you can put questions to a dancer. It will be free with nor booking required.
A Family Insight on Saturday 24th 11am - 12.30pm is where you can learn about the characters, story and costumes of The Nutcracker in a way the appeals to the young and old with a chance to see the one of the dancers. Suitable for children above the age of 6. The tickets range £3.50 - £5.50.
